Our EFT Master Trainer / Practitioners Tamara and Peter Donn offer a small number of sessions each week for those who wish to make more efficient progress on their mental and emotional challenges and blocks or want to work towards taking down the barriers to their dreams and goals. See the FAQ below for some other areas in which EFT is being used.
EFT can be used effectively on the phone or by Skype / Zoom (etc) worldwide. We offer sessions also face to face in Kings Langley in Hertfordshire, UK.
Although by self-applying EFT you can make great progress on simple issues, and general day-to-day stress, working with an experienced professional is a completely different experience. They are trained to work with the roots of presenting issues with the intention to make long-lasting change. Practitioners are also able to spot subtle patterns which are near-impossible to be aware of personally as we are so used to our everyday reality. It is very hard to see outside our own box.

What is EFT?
You may or may not know about the EFT Tapping technique. It is an immensely powerful transformation method that is suitable for anyone either suffering from a challenging mental or emotional issue or pattern, and is feeling ready to move forwards in their lives.
Regarding personal performance in any area of life, such as in a physical sport or acting or presenting is it excellent for anyone wishing remove fears and blocks that may be sabotaging.
It is also suitable for anyone who suspects that stress or emotional factors could be contributing to physical conditions. In our opinion this is the case 95%+ of the time and we have seen many thousands of cases where physical pain and other symptoms have fallen away. In our workshops, participants often experience long-standing pain reduce or disappear in a 15-minute mini-session!
What Can EFT Help With?
The American Psychological Association has found EFT to be evidence-based for depression, anxiety and PTSD. However people are using it successfully in an almost unlimited number of ways. These include:
How Does EFT Work?
At the simplest level, EFT works by the individual focussing on discomfort whilst tapping a small sequence of acupuncture points. This can be self-applied or applied by a practitioner. The effect can be quite miraculous as the surface feelings lift usually to reveal what is sitting underneath them. By following the trail you can often get back to and release core issues that are generating all kinds of symptoms in life.
EFT can be used either superficially – as witnessed and experienced by tapping along with YouTube tapping videos - or profoundly deeply to work with the very roots of our core issues – including what we have believed to be our identity! Working this deeply requires advanced training in EFT and the more experienced the practitioner the better. Having said that, the method is so effective in many cases that learning (properly!) to tap on yourself can be a life changing gift as you can often shift many issues significantly as well as use it daily to release stress effectively.
We have a fear centre in our mid-brain called our amygdala and hippocampus. This red-flags specific upsetting past memories with the intention of protecting us from similar events in the future.
This results in the continued and subconscious emotional triggering of our past in the present which often leaves us out of control and stressed. Acupuncture research using fMRI machines shows that acu-point stimulation reduces amygdala arousal, and this is what is happening in EFT – often in minutes.
After successfully using EFT, the thoughts and situations that would previously upset us no longer do so. It is possible to reach complete peace about the most traumatic past experiences without supressing them. The results are usually permanent if done thoroughly.
Who Does EFT Work For?
EFT works well by far with the majority of people. However around 5% don’t respond and about 10% respond slowly.
Why is this? The following gives common reasons why EFT (or potentially other therapies) won’t work, or work effectively – but this is a gross generalisation so don’t draw affirmative conclusions! The only real way to know it is try it.
It is important that you want to change. If you don’t, you will be blocking the process. It is fine if parts of you are resisting – as long as consciously there is that intention. This means that there needs to be a willingness to have freedom from a given issue, and also a willingness to be in the session and to work with a particular practitioner. Without these being in place, the emotional barriers will go down and it will be hard or impossible to move forwards.
We have experienced cases where there is a very strong need to stay in emotional control and have noticed that this may block or hinder emotional shifts taking place. If you or others consider yourself to be a BIG control freak for example, that could indicate EFT may not work well for you as part of you will fear emotional material surfacing and will put on the breaks and pull down the barriers.
EFT doesn’t force anything. In these cases one possible approach would be to initially work on this very fear or pattern to create safety to work through the emotional layers that underlie an issue.
How Many Sessions are Needed?
This is a common question but unfortunately as everyone is different and the presenting issue can be anything this is a very hard question to answer!
Typically to release a simple phobia or a low-level past upsetting trauma may take a session or two.
For a long-running issue, which can have several strands to it, as well as potential underlying issues, the question is less easily answered!
We normally offer a guess of between 4 and 12 sessions depending on how focussed the intention is. But it can be a lot more for more complex cases or where the scope of what we are working with expands as the individual realises there is so much more possibility than they originally realised.
Typically in each session you would expect to experience a very tangible shift in the aspects of the issue that is worked with.
What is the Time Gap Between Sessions?
This can vary depending on the sensitivity and choice of the individual. We usually suggest spacing sessions between a week and three weeks apart. However some individuals are keen to work intensively over a few days; others prefer to wait longer periods of time between sessions and get in touch when they are ready to continue. Generally speaking, however, it is good to create some momentum if you are seeking to resolve a specific issue so it is a good idea if possible not to space sessions out too much.
Working with Our Accredited Master Practitioners
Just like in any other skill area, there is a dramatic difference in competency level between practitioners in this field. The core EFT training is relatively short which means that the really effective practitioners are those who study beyond that training, attend conferences, take advanced training and who have worked for a number of years with many people as part of their practice. Some call themselves a practitioner after just an introductory training which means they are able to apply EFT only at a superficial level (although that can also be a powerful experience).
Our two practitioners Tamara and Peter Donn at the EFT Training Centre are two of the most experienced EFT practitioners in the world. They are also EFT trainers and teach others to practitioner level and beyond. Tamara works only with women.

About EFT Master Practitioner Peter Donn
Peter Donn is an international EFT Master trainer, offering courses for the three largest EFT organisations worldwide and is one of the most experienced, having been trained in person by tapping originator Dr Roger Callahan and EFT creator Gary Craig. He also runs his own bespoke trainings. He is the creator of Higher Psycho-kinesiology (HPK) which takes the technique of muscle testing to a new level of understanding.

Booking EFT Sessions
We suggest you book an initial 1 ½ hour session to experience EFT and decide if your practitioner (and EFT) is right for you.
For some issues you may only need this one session.
Afterwards you can decide if you wish to continue with follow-on sessions.
We offer packages of sessions which brings down the per-session price.
Session prices tend to be higher for those who are very experienced in this field. Typically these practitioners are able to work more efficiently and deeply. Some issues can be very subtle and themselves have underlying foundational issues which can block progress. It can sometimes take a more experienced practitioner to spot these and successfully work with them.
